As architects, we understand the significance of space and location, and we recognize the power they have to inspire, transform, and bring people together – not only in the work we do for our clients, but at the heart of our operations as well. With this belief guiding all we do, we are thrilled to announce the next chapter in our journey: the opening of our second office location!

From our humble roots in our home office 18 years ago to launching our second location today, for GDG, growth is about much more than just scale. It’s about expanding our realm of influence in the healthcare space, nurturing innovative, user-first design in new environments throughout California, and forging stronger connections in the communities we serve.

Our second location—a new design studio and facility in Santa Clara County—represents significant growth of our business, including major architectural projects throughout Silicon Valley. This expansion enables us to better serve hospitals and healthcare facility clients in Northern California.

The success we’ve seen from our flagship office in Orange County since our founding in 2005 has been a testament to the dedication and talent of our incredible team and to the unwavering support from our clients and partners throughout the industry. This new venture in Silicon Valley is a celebration of not just a new physical space, but the limitless possibilities it promises.

On September 28, we held a grand opening celebration to officially open the doors and introduce our newly renovated design facility to our clients and supporters. Located in Campbell, California, this office will serve as our Northern California headquarters to serve clients in the healthcare industry throughout the region.

“Opening a second facility in Campbell is a major milestone for GDG that will allow us to better serve the Silicon Valley healthcare community,” said Jesse Given, President & Co-Founder. “While our origins are in Orange County, we have grown significantly in recent years as we continue transforming hospitals and medical centers throughout the Golden State with impactful, efficient designs.”

“Jesse and I are incredibly grateful for everyone that has contributed to our expansion in Northern California, and we couldn’t be prouder of the GDG team whose talent and dedication to innovative healthcare design helped make this possible!” said Kisha Given, Vice President & Co-Founder. “At GDG, our core belief that, ‘It’s not just business, it’s personal’ is the root of our ‘WHY’. We care deeply about our clients, the patients and medical teams, and the real impact we make through our work.”

At GDG, we’re reshaping the healthcare field through creative, user-first design solutions. We are reimagining the way that healthcare facilities are designed and built, to better serve patients, medical personnel, and the greater community.
